TV is no longer just a TV receiver; it’s now an internet-connected information experience with video content, animations and mixtures of shared broadcast and social information experiences. A second screen ‘lean-forward’ active experience can also be combined more closely with the traditional passive ‘lean-back’ experience. This project explores how this can be achieved and includes a variety of important features, such as multi-touch, multi-person capability, non TV broadcast experiences such as social data feeds, gaming, e-commerce and entertainment on-demand. This digital canvas provides users with personalised streams of their favourite / most relevant information and adapts to user behaviour.
