In a captivating fusion of art and technology, our LAUNCH team partnered up with Contemporary Artist Jonathan Huxley to create an ever-evolving digital artwork titled “The People.”

With a desire to bring his painting into the digital world, the collaboration was driven by a shared interest in generative systems and emergent behaviours. Using the latest simulation algorithms and machine learning, we brought Huxley's crowd paintings to life.

Rooted in Huxley’s fascination with patterns and motion and fuelled by our technological expertise, this infinite generative simulation captures the very essence of humanity through perpetual rhythm and motion, with each individual moving and reacting to one another.

For every iteration of the simulation, a distinct pattern emerges.

In September 2023, "The People" made its public debut at Galerie Olivier Waltman as part of the Marais DigitARt Paris event. 10 unique editions were available for collectors to purchase.
