Solarflare Studio collaborated with Atomized and the Sustainable Markets Initiative to craft a powerful, immersive experience that heightened awareness of the Amazon Rainforest’s fragility. Unveiled at an exclusive VIP guest party, the installation merged cutting-edge projection mapping with natural elements, transforming living plants into interactive storytelling canvases.

Our goal was to create an emotional connection between guests and the Amazon’s delicate ecosystem. Guests entered through a waterfall fog screen. We then used projection mapping technology to cast breathtaking, real-time visuals onto the foliage, bringing the rainforest’s vibrant biodiversity to life.

As guests engaged with the plants, embedded Biotron touch-sensors triggered dynamic audio-visual responses—simulating the delicate balance of nature. A gentle brush of a leaf could reveal a fluttering macaw, a ripple through the canopy, or the subtle rustling of wildlife.

Guests were able to not only witness the rainforest’s beauty but to feel its fragility firsthand. By merging technology and nature, we provided an unforgettable, immersive experience that left a lasting impact, inspiring attendees to consider their role in protecting these vital ecosystems.
