ABOUT
This project began with a single motif — the distinctive crossguard of a Shamshir Sword in Topkapı Palace. From that point, a full visual identity was developed, inspired by Indo-Persian arms and armour, with forms echoing koftgari inlay and Islamic geometric design. The result is a mark that balances reverence for tradition with contemporary clarity.
The project expanded into detailed photographic documentation of historic artefacts — each piece carefully handled, lit, and edited to preserve texture, form and craftsmanship. Studio and restoration photography were paired with rigorous research and minimal, honest post-production, creating a lasting visual archive.
A printed catalogue showcases past and current inventory, housed in a bespoke hardcover sleeve featuring hand-drawn helmet illustrations — a design also featured on limited-edition merchandise.
Culminating in a curated oil painting series and publication titled A Palette of Prestige and Power: The Art of War, the campaign reimagines history through brushstrokes — merging battlefield legacy with artistic interpretation.
This is more than a branding exercise — it’s a full-spectrum creative project rooted in culture, craftsmanship and storytelling.
