About me
Hi! I am a translator with eight years of experience and relevant university qualifications. I have worked as an in-house translator/subtitle creator for one of the most unique international animated film festivals in Eastern Europe. Since 2020, I have also been doing freelance translation work on many film projects from Ukraine and abroad. My clients have stuck with me for years, which is an honor.
I am precise with my words, efficient, detail-oriented, conscientious, and self-organized. I have a keen sense of language and style (which has been pointed out by native English speakers). Dedication to my work helps me deliver the highest quality texts in the target language on time while making sure that the tiniest bits of meaning are preserved.
My areas of expertise include:
- creation, translation, and editing of subtitles, as well as dialogue lists for dubbing/voiceover;
- translation from/into English, Ukrainian (editorial, academic translation);
- editing and proofreading of texts in English and Ukrainian;
- writing in various genres and for different purposes (including fiction, blog posts, essays, etc.), researching.
