About me

My name is Sofia Coeli, and I am an experienced Designer starting a new chapter of life and professional development here in the UK. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from UEMG, a university renowned for its Design School in my home country, Brazil. Upon my completion of my Bachelor's Degree I spent three years working as a Graphic Designer with a local radio station, a statewide fashion label and some freelance work to further my development. I additionally studied and completed a certification program in English as a Second Language at SUNY New Paltz, New York, USA. Most recently I completed an 18 months traineeship in San Diego, California, where I worked at a fast-paced marketing agency named Alternate Strategies. I would describe my time at Alternate Strategies as a pivotal time in my professional development where quick turnaround times, fast-paced high quality work and strong communication skills were a must.

I have been searching the field for Graphic Design positions in companies that align with my values and that I know I will enjoy being a part of, thereby making my work more meaningful towards people's lives. I am currently studying UX and UI design in order to be a more complete professional.
