ABOUT
RealTime Draft is a web based service for amateur basketball scouts to rank this years top talent for the upcoming NBA Draft. The service allows the user to review, rank and predict rankings in real time and they can compare their rankings against the community real time leaderboards. It also provides more full service features such as complete scouting reports for individual prospects which the user can then share via social media or with other members of RealTime Draft. Other features include player metrics, stats and video highlight reels.
The idea of the service being entirely in real time, along with a countdown to the next NBA Draft was an important aspect of the brand. This was incorporated through the logo using a letterform of the letters 'RTD' in the form of a stopwatch in an abstract, minimalist style. The RTD mark is often used on its own in their marketing and social media strategies and its ability to be distinctive and memorable was highly important to the success of the RealTime Draft brand.
