The city of Enschede needed illustrations that would be used to help children whose first language isn’t Dutch or children who have to improve their Dutch language skills.

Some of the bigger illustrations involved a 'Praatplaat', a prompting board to get children talking about what they see.

One of the concepts portrayed is eating and drinking at different times of the day. Lot's of recognizable typical Dutch food in these!
