For women in abusive relationships, sometimes it's hard to get out, sometimes it's hard to accept, and sometimes it's hard to even identify. The lines between love and fear blur quickly. "Knocked off your feet" doesn't mean what it means now. "Heart racing" used to be out of excitement, now it's out of grave fear.

This project aims to remind women who need support that they aren't alone, they aren't at fault and they do have choices. Refuge understands, Refuge is here for them, and Refuge will believe them.
