About me

Writing is something I have just always done. From school to university to a brief stint as a copywriter, I have covered all manner of writing styles alongside that of my personal creative writing. And, what's more, I have always impressed while I have been at it. I am very familiar with writing analytically, thanks to a Philosophy degree, but I also have a flair for the fun. I'd love to show this off in a professional capacity at the same time as enhancing my current skills and gaining the room to be creative within projects and help steer the style and image of company content in new directions.

My current, full-time job is as a proof reader, and I am very glad to have worked in this role over the last year and a half as it has given me a much more meticulous eye and a deeper understanding of how our language works. I have seen this knowledge improve my writing as much in the overall quality as in editing. On top of this, I have a great deal of experience both as a copywriter and from working in retail for gearing communication towards an audience of customers. I have been able to merge the digital functions that content marketing relies on within enjoyable and stylish copy in a range of voices dependent on particular audiences.
