BRIEF: To design a children’s booklet for the Richmond Intensive Therapy Unit. It would need to be fun and young but not make light of the information being delivered either.

The booklet was created to help younger children understand what intensive care is and why those close to them may need it and what they can expect. A really lovely idea to make the machines and tubes less scary for little kids.

The name of the Intensive Therapy Unit is Richmond. I thought it would be fun and engaging to have a character named “Richie” feature throughout the booklet to make it fun and engaging.
