ABOUT

Nestled into the plains of Colorado are some fading parts of American history.
The Colorado Plateau is 5600ft above sea level, higher than any mountain in the UK.
In some cases the properties and infrastructure the settlers built has been standing for over one hundred years. The buildings have been sculpted by the cycle of annual temperature variations, exposed to one hundred degrees in the summer and minus ten in the winter snows.
These tough working environments create their own aesthetic, the aesthetic of survival.
A massive thank you to my hosts and the communities that so warmly accepted me into their fold.
