An opportunistic one-off from way back when roll-your-owns were entering Bulgaria. The enterprising official importer of Rizla commissioned ‘an ad, a poster, anything to get us rolling’ with the agency’s then managing director – who also happened to be Christo’s sister-in-law’s sister and as such the proud owner of several glorious A1 posters of the freshly wrapped Reichstag. Did Christo sign off on this? No, he did not and the Surgeon General knew precious little about it. Did it run? You bet.
