ABOUT

PhD research exploring how unit repetition shapes perception, interaction, and experience through textile surfaces in interactive art.

The study brings together textile design, interactive art, Gestalt theory, and experience-focused research. Through theoretical research and practice-based experimentation, I examined how repetition contributes to visual organization, perceptual coherence, and viewer interaction within interactive textile surfaces.

The research resulted in an interactive installation integrating textile surfaces, sensors, 3D elements, and TouchDesigner to create a responsive visual and sensory experience.
