ABOUT

CONCEPT
Çarshija is a short-form comedy series set in Skopje’s Old Bazaar, bringing together characters from different communities. Through humour and everyday situations, it explores social issues, challenges stereotypes and encourages dialogue. The first season was produced by Machina Production with SIDA support.

EXECUTION
As the project’s creator, producer, director and contributing screenwriter, I led its creative development and production, coordinating the cast, crew, budgets and schedules through delivery. The season comprises 36 episodes, each running 3–5 minutes. I also adapted every episode into a one-minute vertical version for social platforms, reshaping the opening and pacing while preserving the central story.

RESULTS
As of 5 September 2026, the series had accumulated 4,841,053 views across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube:
Instagram — 2,923,700
TikTok — 1,147,100
YouTube — 770,253

The first season involved more than 90 people, creating paid opportunities across acting, production and technical roles. It demonstrates my ability to develop an original concept, lead a substantial production and adapt storytelling for different viewing formats.
