ABOUT
Luxury Print Design | Brand Partnership Marketing
As a respected name in writing instruments, Parker carries a heritage of craftsmanship and prestige, so when SPS (EU) Ltd partnered with the brand to promote its pens to the trade market, the brief called for a premium mini brochure that reflected Parker’s legacy while still aligning with SPS’s evolving visual identity.
This was my first solo brochure project at SPS, offering a chance to set the tone for luxury-focused marketing collateral under the SPS umbrella.
Creative Direction:
While SPS typically leaned towards bright and bold visuals, this project required a distinct shift to match Parker’s premium positioning. I proposed a muted, elegant colour palette, more restrained than SPS’s usual style, to allow the product’s quality to shine through and to better reflect its higher price point and refined audience.
The cover featured:
• A spot UV pattern using the Parker logomark for a subtle yet tactile luxury finish
• Clean, minimalist typography and considered white space for an elevated look
• Layouts that let the craftsmanship of the pens speak for themselves, supported by brief, impactful copy
The brochure was distributed via direct mail, online platforms, and email marketing, serving as a targeted promotional tool to position Parker as the go-to premium writing instrument in the promotional merchandise sector.
Key Contributions:
• End-to-end design and production of the Parker mini brochure as a solo project
• Introduced a luxury visual tone while preserving elements of the SPS brand identity
• Selected and applied print finishes (spot UV) to enhance tactile and visual appeal
• Designed for multi-channel promotion, from print to digital use
• Helped elevate SPS’s credibility in premium brand partnerships and customer-facing marketing
This project marked an important milestone, not only as my first independent brochure design at SPS, but as the beginning of a shift in how the company approached luxury product storytelling within a B2B context.
