About me
I have over 10 years experience working with media productions in New York. There I worked for a video production company with rental and post-production editing suites, and later for CTRL Labs, a multidisciplinary design studio founded by visual artist and motion designer Devan Simunovich (aka Dev Harlan) and Nika Offenbac; creating VFX for broadcast, short-films, and multi-platform media campaigns.
Marketing and business development was integral to my role as the operations director for CTRL, as was client liason. Key to promoting the business was winning awards like the ADC Young Gun Awards, and entering short-film festivals. Utilising social media, we generated buzz through high profile brand work, live events, and viral campaigns. I worked hard on the PR front, garnerning profile articles in Res Magazine, Wired, IDN, and ST Stash DVD Magazine, amongst others.
My responsibilities also included location production and coordinating live events. But as an experienced bookkeeper I also managed the accounts and the budgeting, for both the business and individual contracts.
Needless to say, I am happy working closely with producers and directors in a fast paced environment.
Last year I relocated to London. After receiving my settlement visa, I did sadly have to return to the US to take care of my father. I am now eager to resume my media career here in London.
