I'm not a genie, but I often wish I were.
Accepting the idea that I'm only human was quite hard at first, but I ended up believing that with the right amount of bribery almost anything is possible.
Managing a studio is not just about forwarding emails or cracking the whip. It's a daily challenge managing all stakeholders involved with a creative project. But one I enjoy doing.
I understand Creatives and manage to get the best results out of them. Whilst still building and preserving strong relationships with Client Services, they know they can rely on me to get things done because I recognise their requirements.
My objective is the business; resource vs time = budget.
Having returned to the UK from Dubai I intend on taking the skills I learned in that high-pressured and often rigid environment and am eager to apply them to my next role.
