ABOUT

In only 2016 the show was able to raise £30,000 for independent charity STOP THE TRAFFIK, this year however, as they turned their focus to the humanitarian emergency in Syria, students aimed for an incredible final donation of £50,000 to the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

The IRC provides sustainable aid relief, and aims to help those whose lives have been torn apart by disaster to survive, recover and ultimately move forward by taking control of their future. In order to achieve the final donation figure (which ended up being a record-breaking £75,000!) to help those in need of humanitarian assistance, the 2017 DUCFS theme celebrated the ideas that changed fashion and the icons behind them.

This theme is what we helped to bring to life, injecting a fresh visual execution and ensuring sophisticated yet cohesive branding across the supporting website, as well as the corporate sponsorship brochure – used to reach out to brands across the UK and beyond.

We proposed a more professional brochure fully outlining the benefits to sponsors (which went on to include high profile brands such as Fever-Tree, Teach First and Micro Scooters!), as well as the wealth of fabulous benefits through working with such inspirational and creative students. We then introduced bold textured layouts together with a bespoke handwritten font, helping to create a unique event identity with both a contemporary and refined feel that was then carried across key items.

To further help with promotional activity, we also created marketing materials such as high impact posters and social images to support corporate sponsorship, together with flyers and stickers. Business cards were also created and then used to recruit the models that walked in this valuable charitable event – one we are proud to have been sponsors of, and to help become the UK’s most profitable student fundraiser.
