With São Paulo serving as a crucial hub and the sole central point in South America for Qatar Airways operations, Craig Thomas, the VP of the Americas, visited the city in August 2023 for a series of meetings. We seized this opportunity to organise a media tour day. Given that interviews with spokespersons from Qatar Airways are very rare, we knew this would be a valuable opportunity to offer to tier-1 media outlets. As a result, we successfully secured 1:1 interviews with Exame, Folha de S.Paulo, and Reuters. During these exclusive interviews, the executive discussed the importance of the Brazilian market and the airline's expansion plans in the region.
