About me
I am a dedicated, determined, hard working person who has a love and a total passion for design and a willingness to learn. I am confident in my ability to carry out all tasks given to me due to my skills, knowledge and job experience. I have completed a Visual Communication Design in Graphic Design which was built on my previous education where I gained a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. On these courses I gained extensive first hand knowledge of the Mac OSX system and the programs Adobe creative suite Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Acrobat. I also have knowledge of Quark Xpress, Flash and Dreamweaver. As well as the Apple OS systems, I am also comfortable using Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft office programs Word, Excel etc. My degree projects as well as previous employment as enabled me to construct a portfolio of my own work. My time at university prepared me for the demands of deadlines so I am comfortable working to tight ones and I am calm under pressure. My actual job experience allowed me to build on my time-management and productivity skills even more to the extent that I am confident that I am able to complete several projects to a high standard at any one time. I have good interpersonal and communication skills and I am able to work well in a team but also have the initiative to work independently if necessary.
