To Whom It May Concern,

I'm interested in joining the Purple team as the new Junior Copywriter.

As a recent multimedia journalism graduate, I feel that the experience gained from an online fashion company would be invaluable. I also feel that my personality and abilities would be the right fit for the position.

I'm naturally quite easy going but I love a challenge, especially working towards tight deadlines. I'm hardworking and enjoy helping others. I make it an obligation to always be punctual, professional, and meticulous and maintain a positive mindset through even the most difficult situations. I am very passionate about fashion and journalism, and feel that I can express this through my writing and media skills.

My previous internship experience at Bonhams Auctioneers has refined my skills in the roles of: PR assistant, customer service adviser, and copywriter. The internship required carrying out tasks involving everything from organizing documents, creating copy to be published and transferring digital files to dealing with media inquiries and company clientele, including celebrities and media figures. I also dealt with fashion pieces ranging from clothing to accessories. My previous retail roles have also taught me about the importance of carrying out a high level of professionalism and overall having a great understanding and appreciation for different brands and what they have to offer a buyer. I also recognize the importance of stellar advertising and customer service.

In terms of my media abilities, I'm experienced in all Microsoft Office programs, Publisher, InDesign and Photoshop. I am very capable of and confident about working on an online platform, and am familiar with the effectiveness of great SEO and web advertising. I have also had experience working on company websites and using their internal systems. As for social networking, I know my way around Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and the like. If it's new and popular, I'll know about it and how to utilise it effectively.

I am keen to work with Purple not only because of my love of fashion and how it allows the greatest form of self-expression, but also because of the opportunity to learn more about working with social media, which is a strength of mine other that my writing. I'd also like the chance to hit the ground running and prove myself in an exciting junior media role that will allow me to push myself with both my individual responsibilities and working in a team and sharing great ideas.

My confidence in my skills, desire to help others through my work, and my determination to thrive in a team and help build a brand, are the reasons why I believe I could fill this position well.
