ABOUT

MUGHAL GARDENAutumn/Winter 24
The Indian garden is a place of tranquillity and beauty, where nature is celebrated and revered. In Indian culture, gardens are considered a place of spiritual significance and are often associated with meditation and contemplation. Typically, Indian gardens feature a combination of lush greenery, colourful flowers, and water features such as fountains or pools. Stone pathways and statues are also common in Indian gardens, and are used to create a sense of harmony and balance. One of the most famous examples of an Indian garden is the Taj Mahal, which is surrounded by the beautiful Mughal Gardens. These gardens feature a stunning array of flowers, trees, and water channels, and are divided into four main quadrants, each with its own distinct theme.
