About me

I am a freelance illustrator and children's book artist based in the UK with an insatiable love of builder's tea, dogs and the colour yellow. My work mostly consists of nature themes, changing seasons and not-so classic fairy tales. I occasionally dabble in some animation and comics as well.

Character design is my favourite aspect of my work and nothing makes me happier than a silly haircut and oversized facial features.

I studied a BA(hons) at Birmingham City University in illustration.

Photography (studio portraits and digital manipulation) and Art (semi-realist paintings) A levels.

I have a book coming out in 2020! Stay tuned.

To create my work I use a combination of pencil lines and digital colouring in photoshop with textural effects either created by hand or with digital brushes.
