ABOUT

Three delightfully illustrated stories will not only delight and entertain children, but also teach them first concepts and develop their vocabulary.

Herman and Paxton are friends. They met on the internet.

Herman lives in a big head of cabbage on one side of the vegetable garden. Paxton lives in a head of lettuce on the other side of that same garden. Herman has never been to Paxton’s house so he decides to go and visit him. It takes Herman a whole year to make the journey and on his way he meets all kinds of interesting insect friends. Herman the snail’s adventure teaches children the months of the year and about colours, vegetables and insects.

Poor Mox and Kat are stranded on an island. They are sooooo hungry! On Monday they find one banana tree. On Tuesday they find two apple trees. On Wednesday they find three orange trees . . . And so they teach children the days of the week, counting to ten and learning names of fruit!

And finally a mouse family has to see who has enough puff to blow out Benny’s birthday candles. Children will enjoy this humorous story, while getting to know all the names for different members of a family.
