Working along side the fantastic Billington Cartmell team we produced the photography for this fantastic project called ‘project noise’.

Inviting anyone to contribute their own audio samples from everyday life to be included in a one off track produced by Simon Cowell signed artist; Labrinth.

The idea of the project was that members of general public would record samples of everyday/quirky sounds that they like and send them into Labrinth who would then construct a single from these soundbites and try and get it into the charts

The guys at Billington Cartmell already had a series of visuals in their head for Project Noise that they were keen to capture. They wanted a dynamic visual that mixed the environment with projected material yet also used Labrinth as a canvas for this projection. The projected material was a carefully selected mosaic of visual elements that could be captured and used in Project Noise and served as a visual reference for how they wanted to get the public involved.
