Salonica Maroon, a diversity-led VC firm wanted to delve deeper into the funding stories faced by underrepresented founders.

CHL covered the sampling, qualitative & quantitative data collection methods and produced a report showing that
- minority (BAME, working class, female, LGBT) founders find it harder to raise funds
- most of this is due to a whitewashed funding sector
- access is the second largest contributing factor
- other factors rise from lack of mentorship & resources
