Urban photography always gives you the opportunity, if you are motivated enough to do so, to discover great little stories just a few steps from where you live.

It is not necessary to cross an ocean, nor to pretend exotic destinations. You have it many times in front of your eyes, within reach of your camera. Cameras that almost everyone today carries in their hands, with smartphones that offer facilities and technical resources that even Henri Cartier-Bresson would envy.

This story that I am sharing with you has as its protagonist a Colombian guy that I met on the streets of Panama. A cute madman who began to clean up the filth that people dump on the streets where he lives, putting his hands in a filthy sewer. A job that I believe should be done by the authorities of the municipality, but that overflowing with joy Aldemar Montaña took it as a personal challenge, thus giving us a brutal example of life that does not need false investiture or imposed speeches to give.

His teaching is clear and forceful.
