About me
School was where my journey with photography began with hours spent in the dark room developing film and making prints. In my late teens my true passion for photography ignited when I travelled around India for six months.
I always had my camera close at hand throughout my studies at SOAS, University London (BA History of Art & Archaeology), Chelsea Art School (Foundation Diploma in Art and Design) and Wimbledon College of Arts (BA Hons Fine Art Sculpture).
Becoming a mother deepened my practice as a photographer. Who doesn't want to capture every moment in the lives of their children
I started photographing my friends and their children, and this led me into professional training with Jerry Ghionis, Damien Lovegrove and Aspire Photography Training.
In 2002 I founded Serena Bolton Photography and as demand has grown, so too has the business. I now lead a team of talented photographers from my West London Studio; we work across the UK and internationally, offering corporate and individual headshots, personal brand photography, family, women, teen and graduate portraits and event photography.
