Concept

Leaderboard Group of Hotels are a small luxury hotel, golf and spa venues around the south of England. They have marketing requirements for different products and services for their venues. These range from weddings to Christmas and membership and much more.

Execution

Sentio was invited to produce the years collection of brochures for the group. On two of the brochures the client requested we offer a more creative approach to the print of the covers. We looked at the imagery and then came up with a selection of ideas to complement the design. This ranged from foil blocking to SCODIX treated and different papers such as GF Smith Peregrina (which is a pearlescent material)

Sentio produced dummies and test sheets with the SOCIDIX and the customer was delighted. The Marketing Executive could see the samples of the print and the finish giving her a real idea of how the covers were going to look and feel. Once she saw this the costs were approved.

We moved into production with the brochure printing after the design was approved and we print managed the complete process from liaising between three suppliers to create the final products.

Results

The client was delighted she had a different look and feel for the brochures with the SCODIX treatment and was able to market the groups services and products really well. The feedback from the clients who received the brochures was very good and positive. So much so that the hotels have hit their budgets and in some cases increased the sales for Christmas. One of the venues has doubled the sales for weddings in the first 6 months.

Sentio is currently working on Christmas 2017 with Leaderobard to create another set of engaging marketing materials.
