Concept:
The concept for TikTok's 2022 End-of-Year Party aimed to present a vibrant celebration of the TikTok creator community and its significant impact on shaping culture throughout the year.

The aim was to highlight the power of content creation through various immersive moments designed and executed to celebrate the platform's trends and creators.

With a focus on engaging experiences and live content, the event delivered an unforgettable experience for the attendees and those watching via a live stream.


Execution:
The event was meticulously planned to immerse guests in an atmosphere of creativity and excitement.

An array of engaging elements and activities that captured the essence of TikTok's vibrant community, including:

• A branded effects projection wall to project trending effects from the past year, creating a visually stunning display and a powerful aesthetic element within the main space.

• A robot cam mirrored cube and an LED vignette to celebrate the creators and their contributions.

• A red carpet area that served as a hub for capturing live content, allowing viewers at home to experience the excitement first-hand through the live stream.
• Bespoke food stations featuring trending hashtags, such as Binley Mega Chippy #ItsCorn and Negroni Spagliatos, brought the year's key TikTok trends to life and provided a unique culinary experience for attendees.

We carefully planned the creator journey throughout the night to provide an unforgettable experience.

The event kicked off with a Year on TikTok 2022 branded entrance, setting the stage for an evening filled with recognition and appreciation for the creators.

The red carpet area, hosted by ShxtnGigs, provided a platform for interviews and live content capture.

A Creator Recognition Hall of Fame offered guests the opportunity to feel special and appreciated as they made their way from the entrance into the main space.

Within the event, immersive spaces were created to engage the creators. The Glamdroid mirror room allowed creators to capture video moments, resulting in 159 videos created.

Projection mapping showcased trending effects from the past year and served as a visual spectacle and an opportunity for content creation with 70 videos produced.

An elevated vignette within an illuminated box offered an organic content capture opportunity for guests. This space added a layer of excitement to the event.

The onstage performances played a pivotal role in entertaining the audience on the night. A variety of artists, including DJ Star One, Coco Sarel & Victor, Cheryl Hole & Tia Kofi, Jodie Harsh, No Guidnce, Piri, DJ Ellie Prohan, Nutcase22, Lillz x ZieZie, Stepz, A1 & J1, Ms Banks, Russ Millions, and Eliza Rose, showcased their talents across different genres creating an unforgettable musical experience.

Results:
TikTok's 2022 End-of-Year Party offered a range of results and benefits for the attendees, the TikTok creator community and TikTok itself.

Engagement
The event generated high levels of engagement and brand exposure from the attendees, press, influencers and the wider TikTok community.

• The @shxtsngigs red carpet LIVE generated thousands of global unique views,

• Content capture resulted in: 1,992,898 video views, 781 shares and 1,612 comments.

• PR generated: 200-plus pieces of press coverage.

• Guest sentiment: guests felt more connected to TikTok and the TikTok community.

• The event provided an unparalleled platform for creators to be recognised and celebrated.

• The performances from renowned artists and DJs added to the overall entertainment value of the event, leaving a lasting impact on the attendees.

• Press and influencer guests had the opportunity to network and connect with the TikTok community, fostering collaborations and partnerships.

• The live-streamed red carpet content expanded the event’s reach, allowing a larger audience to engage with and experience the celebration of TikTok's influential creators.

• In addition to the intangible results, guests were given trend-led menus throughout the evening, ensuring a delightful dining experience. As the event ended, guests were given a Hangover SWAG kit, adding a touch of fun and memorability to their departure.

The overall rewards also extended beyond the event itself.

• By celebrating the TikTok creator community and acknowledging their impact on shaping culture, the event elevated the visibility and recognition of these talented individuals. This exposure opened new opportunities for collaborations and brand partnerships and increased follower engagement, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the creators involved.
