Porsche have been involved in hybrid technology for over 100 years, this is a 3D model of the Lohner Porsche automobile. It used two, 2 cylinder Daimler engines to generate electricity that was stored in batteries which powered the two electric motors on the front wheels.
This 3D model is based on some engineering sketches and photographs although unfortunately no site visit! The brief was to lift the sketches off the page and bring the model to life. The exploded animation shows the complexity of the model.
