About me

Lover of Language and People: Writer, Director, Presenter, Performer, Podcaster.
Guest Lecturer at Vera Bühlmann's Chair for Architecture Theory and Philosophy of Technics at TU Wien.

I think, write, and create across disciplines in theatre, film, video, print, and online with a deepening interest in humans, the multiverse, and a quantum philosophy, and I am always open to new challenges that involve communication and concepts.
I have written several stage plays, including THE POWER OF LOVE, LOVE HURTS, and TIME AFTER TIME, each of which reached the final stages of Soho Theatre's Verity Bargate Award in separate years, and which together now form the LOVE TRILOGY; ELDER LATIMER IS IN LOVE (Arcola Theatre); TOP STORY (The Old Vic Tunnels); and THE SONNETEER (Edinburgh Festival Fringe).

Since 2022 I have been producing and presenting SONNETCAST - William Shakespeare's Sonnets Recited, Revealed, Relived, and I am the lead presenter of the MOOC based on the Atlas of Digital Architecture.
I am the author of the novel ANGEL and of EDEN by FREI - A Concept Narrative in the Here & Now About the Where, the Wherefore and Forever, first published in blog format online and subsequently as the EDEN miniatures paperback series, from which THE SNOWFLAKE COLLECTOR has also been published in hardback with illustrations by Diego Cassia.

I've written and directed two short films: TWENTY-SIX TAKES ON LIFE WITHOUT ALLEN and THE STUDY OF BUNKERS & MOUNDS IN A TEMPERATE CLIMATE (RELATIVELY SPEAKING), which were shown at film festivals in Los Angeles, Chicago, Lisbon, and Locarno; and as writer/director/producer and actor I made the feature film THE HOUR OF LIVING, which was screened at festivals in Switzerland, Italy, New York, and Australia and was nominated for the Basel Film Prize in the Best Feature category.
In collaboration with Professors Ludger Hovestadt of ETH Zürich and Vera Bühlmann of TU Wien, I am co-author of A GENIUS PLANET - A Radical Pathway from Scarcity to Abundance (Birkhäuser 2017), and contributing author to A QUANTUM CITY - Mastering the Generic (Birkhäuser 2015); and with author Christopher Patrick Peterka I am the writer of YOUR CHOICE - An Invitation to Participate in System Change, to Leave Behind the Fainthearted Discourse of Our Day, and to Decide Which Side You're on (Murmann 2019). In collaboration with 24 university professors, including Editors Ludger Hovestadt, Urs Hirschberg, and Oliver Fritz, I am the writer of the ATLAS OF DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE (Birkhäuser 2020).

As a freelancer I've written and developed scripts, treatments, immersive training experiences, and keynotes for major brands including Vodafone, HP, Barclays, Panasonic, Motorola, as well as the Royal Navy, among many others; and created video content for Transport for London, Toyota, the NHS Leadership Academy, and the On Becoming leadership development programme.
