I worked with Upshot on a collection of illustrations for Pacifico Beer’s holiday direction. The project drew from the brand’s origins in Mazatlán and the surf communities that carried it into California in the 1970s. The artwork reflects the history and adventurous spirit of the brand and combine it with festive iconography.

The color system follows Pacifico’s core palette of yellow, red, blue and green. Surf references sit alongside details from the brand’s visual history: the bottle cap, the red mountain and the anchor. 

I also produced concepts for DOOH visuals and tested how the pattern could apply at mural scale.
