My son was born over Christmas and of course he needs pictures for his room to complement his sister’s. These were inspired by the work of Nicolas K Feldmeyer. I did these in an afternoon using Cinema 4D’s Physical Renderer, it’s just a Displace Deformer on a Landscape Primitive with some noise in the bump channel too. I’d like to take these a bit further, watch this space, hopefully I won’t need to have another child before further inspiration takes hold.
