We’re in a creative industry, so why when we present our best
work do we transport it in a mass-produced folder that can be
purchased in any craft store nationwide. With no personalisation,
variation or individuality the common black portfolio case has
no place in our industry.

My approach was to hand craft a portfolio, by using a single
piece of timber. I wanted to exhibit my skills through the craft
of the portfolio and tell the story of my design process. I drew
inspiration from the traditonal Native American methods of
story telling. Also drawing inspiration from visual style and
appreciation of materials.
