I was tasked with producing a high luxury invitation piece for an exclusive event held in Abu Dhabi (UAE).
The piece had to land with impact to a very discerning consumer base to immerse themselves in the brand and buy-in to the event. With a modest budget, I carefully considered the options. This piece needed to represent the premium automotive brand and it's renowned engineering precision whilst also appealing to the consumer. I designed a very ornate pattern at the centre was a stylised icon of an astrolabe; an ancient world marvel of precision and engineering which originated from the Middle East. I used a very tactile stock for immersion and silver foiling with a fluted di to ensure the extremely intricate fine details of the foil would hold. The envelope was finished with a magnetic fastening. The result piece was received very well by client and consumer.
