During the first few weeks of December, I had the pleasure of creating the artwork for The INNOVATION Dam Spring Break 2017 In conjunction with INVADERZ & ROYAL RUMBLE.

The final flyer was created as a 4 fold (A5-A3) design that would gradually give booking and travel information as you unfold it, finishing on an A3 poster of the event lineup that could be used as a poster. All of the Spring Break clubbers will have a copy of this so we made sure they add the information for getting to the nightclubs was clear so they would not be getting lost in Amsterdam.

The project included illustrating a hot “Innovation Babe” that could be used with the current brand theme to create something unique for this massive event. I find the illustration process quite therapeutic, this particular character took around 5-6 hours to complete.

In the early 00’s I would collect flyers and use them as wallpaper and always was blown away by the Innovation flyers from this era, the hand-drawn artwork was fantastic! I believe the original artist passed away some time ago and Innovations art style has been changed a few times since then, so I feel bringing back some hand illustration is my way of linking this back to their roots.
