Having followed the art and design scene in India up close, I realised that the concept of street art is comparatively new in India and is readily being accepted by the country. It addresses a major chunk of the crowd by creating a visual impact, the degree of which may vary from one individual to the other. In my opinion, it could be exploited as a newer means to bring the lesser-known-of crafts to the fore or the dying ones to their feet. The project does not necessarily or solely aim to get the artisans more clients, but aims to make the audience aware of the rich handloom and handicrafts heritage of the country. It is anticipated, however, that building a strong clientele would follow, with more sponsors and more collaborators, which is hoped for to be the face of the project in the long run.
