ABOUT

This project is a compilation of illustrations which I believe would look great replicated for the purpose of surface pattern design. Whether it be greeting cards, tote bags, stationary or phone cases, I believe these images are detailed and vibrant enough to live up to the expectations that consumers hold for the products they buy.

Each piece was completed using a combination of watercolour and acrylic paints. I designed each one to be completely original, and I think the bright colours and repetitive patterns give a sense of the designs I am capable of creating.

I've selected these illustrations from my portfolio which dates back to January 2017. They were produced sporadically, and the average turnaround time for each piece was 4 hours (depending on the size & detail). I hope this small project will show that I'm capable of creating original and eye-catching designs in a variety of mediums, and that I know how to really draw in the eye with interesting colour palettes.
