With the depiction of women in mainstream media perpetually under hot debate, I embarked on a short series of illustrations of women with body positivity and acceptance in mind.

These illustrations were a great way to develop my skills in the depiction of the human body, and I also experimented with enhancing the outline of the figures, by first drawing them with fineliner, then building on certain parts of that outline with black acrylic paint. Each piece was drawn and painted on paper, then scanned.

On average, each illustration had a turn around time of 1 hour.
