ABOUT
CONCEPT
The Wandering Watercolorist documents the life, travels, and artistic career of internationally acclaimed watercolor artist Paul Jackson. The publication showcases nearly 300 paintings created throughout years of travel, exploration, and artistic experimentation.
EXECUTION
I developed the editorial design and visual structure for the publication, organizing hundreds of paintings into a cohesive reading experience. The project required careful attention to pacing, artwork presentation, typography, scale, and sequencing to ensure the artwork remained the focus while creating a compelling narrative throughout the book.
RESULTS
The finished monograph presents Jackson's work as both an artistic retrospective and a visual travel narrative, creating an immersive experience that highlights the breadth of his career and creative exploration.
