ABOUT

CONCEPT
Missouri River Country was created to celebrate the people, landscapes, history, and culture surrounding the final 100 miles of the Missouri River Valley. The publication brought together photography, original artwork, essays, and historical content from numerous contributors to tell the story of one of Missouri's most significant cultural and ecological regions.

EXECUTION
As Creative Director and Editorial Designer, I developed the visual structure and reading experience for the publication. The project required organizing a large volume of photography, artwork by Bryan Haynes, and written contributions into a cohesive narrative. I led the editorial design, typography, layout systems, image sequencing, and overall visual direction to create continuity across multiple content types and contributors.

RESULTS
The finished publication transformed a complex collection of visual and written material into a unified coffee table book that celebrates the history, conservation efforts, landscapes, and communities that define the Missouri River Valley.
