The play “Even the Trapezes have Shadows” is the result of a drama workshop, “How to express what being an actor is?” staging excerpts from texts by Xavier Durringer.
My approach was to use the copies of the texts that had been given to me and build a little music box by folding the sheets in which I placed two characters cut from paper. This enabled me to show the true essence of an actor filled with words.
The information slides like mechanisms from a stage set, white bold lines come to cast a shadow under the title of the play.
