Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing to express my interest in your company and would like to apply for the Junior Designer vacancy.

I am a currently a student in my final year studying Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern design at Leeds College of Art, I am available from the 1st July.

I feel that my experience in surface pattern design makes me a excellent candidate for your position, I have specialised in large format inkjet, dye sub printers, CAD programs.

I start by creating spontaneous marks, textures, drawings and naive hand cut collages, which I then translate into designs using CAD, I have excellent Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator skills and I feel that my experience in various specters will be an aid for your company. These skills combined have allowed my work to be both commercial and have a personal touch.

I constantly strive to learn and though I have relevant experience in design, I would be privileged to gain a first hand experience developing my skills, and showing my potential whilst working for you as a Junior Designer.
