ABOUT

Athletes used to give away their jerseys to fans after they played a match. Those jerseys are what fans want the most and became the highlight of our campaign.

We created a special edition jersey co-created with the Inter Miami, Miami Panthers, Miami Heat, Miami Marlins and Miami Dolphins. We used their usual jerseys with a shared badge that united them as a single team with a Jersey for Miami.
With this idea, we aimed to attract all the sports fans from Miami, with more than 12 million followers on Instagram alone.

Funds raised through “Jersey for Miami” boosted the overall dollar amount available to nonprofits that participated in Give Miami Day, on November 17 of 2022, one of the nation’s biggest 24-hour giving events. The contest was simple: from October 19 through November 11, the pros root on the public to be champions and recruit donors to raise money through nine nonprofit categories– animal welfare, arts and culture, economic development, education and youth, environment, equity, faith-based services, health and wellness, and inclusion and community care. The top three fundraisers won a set of five, signed Jerseys For Miami.

The result was more than 41.000 unique donors (a record for the event) and more than 32 MM U$ DOLLARS in donations.

Participating professional players include Gabe Vincent, Miami Heat; JJ Bleday, Miami Marlins; Robert Taylor, Gregore de Magalhaes Silva, and Leonardo Campana, Inter Miami; Jaelan Phillips, Dolphins; and Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart, Florida Panthers.
