Inspired by Mary Crawley's iconic cloche from Downton Abbey, I embarked on recreating this elegant rabbit fur felt hat as part of my university project. My process began with extensive research and reaching out to the original maker for insights. Through experimentation with blocking techniques, various trimmings, feather curling methods, and stiffening techniques, I meticulously honed the design to achieve the desired effect.
