& deadlines chase me

Definition | Visual Identity Statement
A creative confession. A designer’s silent scream. A professional mantra wrapped in irony.

The line “& deadlines chase me” captures the ongoing reality of the creative industry: deadlines aren’t just dates - they’re creatures. They lurk, they pounce, and no matter how fast we move, they’re always one tab away. It’s a dry, honest nod to the pressure behind every “make it pop” or “just a small tweak” email. Yet it’s said with a smirk, not a sigh.It speaks to the designer who:- Lives in the flow state at 2:43 a.m.- Has five tabs open and one eye on the clock.- Knows the final-final.pdf is never final.

Typography
Ampersand (&) is oversized and centered - symbolizing how creativity coexists with everything else: deadlines, drafts, doubts, and dreams. The boldness of the sans-serif typeface (likely something geometric or grotesque) reinforces a modern, confident voice. The underline under the ampersand subtly acts as a "progress bar" or a loading line of urgency, implying time is running… or catching up.

Colorgraphy
Red Background (#E10600 range): Red triggers urgency. It’s the color of alerts, errors, and energy drinks at 3 a.m. It emotionally simulates the heartbeat of crunch time - intense, chaotic, but creative. Black Typography: Sleek. Serious. A creative’s “I’m fine” in font form. The contrast gives clarity without distraction. Professional but punchy.
