ABOUT

The design concept of the archive had been conceived in collaboration with Tena Lazarević, then a fellow student at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. Further development led to an individual idea of creating an archive of subjective memories where citizens could keep their valuables as worthy treasures they had assembled throughout their lives.
The complex consists of a main building, an amplified cuboid and a tunnel that is colligating to the existing ‘Turkish bath’, a building itself an archive of the public and cultural life of Belgrade.
By being an archive, an isolated and safe place, it is also a hideaway from the city’s tumult while located in its very centre.
