ABOUT

CONTEXT

Bolivia has been a landlocked country ever since 1879, when it lost access to the Pacific to Chile. To this day, the sea continues to distance these countries, even reaching the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

IDEA

Frank believes that it is possible for both nations to share the sea and in an effort to prove it decided to create “Pacifica", the first Bolivian craft beer made with sea water from the Pacific Ocean, so that Bolivians and Chileans could sit at the table and talk as friends. On march 23, 2018, the day Bolivians celebrate “El día Del Mar” Frank invited Bolivians and Chileans residing in Bolivia to try this unique recipe, attracting the attention of the national and international press.
